BELL BOY


The bell attendant hop plays an important role in a hotel/serviced apartment as the person to provide the first impression to arriving guests. He is always well groomed, confident, and pleasant when in contact with guests. His duties include having to greet guests, direct them for check-in, escort them, and carry their luggage to rooms. He also assists disabled or special needs guests at the lobby. He is vigilant and ensures that guests belongings are safe and secure. He also checks to ensure that labels are tagged to the correct luggage in the storage room. The bell attendants has to work in shifts, and needs to be fit in order to perform his duties.  

BELL BOY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide go-the-extra-mile service to guests.
  2. Able to identify and manage own emotions at the workplace.
  3. Adapts to change that occurs within the workplace.
  4. Always keep a professional image at the workplace.
  5. Communicate and relate well with others at the workplace.
  6. Ensure that the service vision is shown through service provided.
  7. Help guests with physical disabilities or special needs.
  8. Provide bell services such as escorting guests and delivering luggage to their rooms.
  9. Provide workplace safety and security.
  10. Use essential functions of a mobile device to aid in job duties.
