COMMERCIAL CLEANER

Commercial cleaners clean, dust, scrub, wipe and polish floors, furniture, fixtures and machinery. They also remove rubbish from the site. Work locations are commercial, industrial or residential properties, including schools, offices, hospitals, factories, industrial facilities and commercial sites. 

COMMERCIAL CLEANERS RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Empty containers, bins and trays; remove rubbish and recyclable material.
  2. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas and machines.
  3. Remove dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, overhead pipes, and fixtures.
  4. Apply acid and solvents to surfaces to remove stains and dirt.
  5. Strip wax from floors, re-wax and polish floors.
  6. Clean and disinfect wet areas and report on defective plumbing fixtures.
  7. Remove residues from machines, ships, furnaces, boilers and tanks.
  8. Sand-blast building exteriors.
  9. Replenish cleaning supplies.
