EVENT BOUNCER

Bouncers are often the first point of contact for patrons and are tasked with ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry. They also play a crucial role in managing crowds and diffusing potentially volatile situations.  

BOUNCER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Checking ID’s and verifying that patrons meet the age requirement for the venue.
  2. Managing crowds and ensuring that patrons are behaving in a safe and orderly manner.
  3. Enforcing rules and regulations set by the venue, such as prohibiting smoking or disallowing certain types of clothing and behavior. 
  4. Monitoring security cameras and patrolling premises to identify potential security risks.
  5. Responding to emergencies and incidents, such as fights or medical situations, and taking appropriate action to resolve them.
  6. Assisting with crowd control during events or high-volume periods.
  7. Escorting unruly patrons out of the venue if necessary.
  8. Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with patrons.
  9. Keeping accurate logs and documentation of incidents or issues that occur during their shift.  

In addition to these duties, bouncers may also be responsible for handling cash and making change, issuing wristbands or stamps to indicate that a patron has paid the cover charge, and assisting with setup and breakdown for events.
